Linear Acoustic LA-5300 is a 1RU Dolby AC-4 encoder and transcoder for ATSC 3.0 broadcasts.

The LA-5300 supports up to 4 independent programs, and will encode stereo or 5.1-ch AC-4 from PCM, transcode Dolby Digital (AC-3) into AC-4, decode and re-encode AC-4 streams after inserting watermarking signals, or passthrough pre-encoded AC-4 bitstreams. Linear Acoustic UPMAX ISC
upmixing and one instance of AC-4 bitstream analysis and a confidence decode monitoring output are included as standard. I/O includes 3 Gb/s SDI, AES-3, and AES-67 for SMTPE 2110 workflows. Dual auto-ranging internal power supplies provide redundancy and worldwide compatibility.

Options include: Quad-Link 3 Gb/s SDI card, MADI I/O card, Verance watermarking, Nielsen watermarking.
